Autumn & Halloween.

Today, I woke up to find out that it was a rainy morning. It probably had started some time in the night. The air was cool, the sky was grey and cloudy and the temperatures have dropped. Yesterday, I drove in the middle of the day with 24 degrees Celcius being the maximum. In October! Today, we have 18 max and even as I am writing this, the sky remains cloudy with the promise of rain later on during the day. Autumn is finally on its way and I am so looking forward to chillier days, cloudy days and rainy days. I’ve been dreaming for this time of the year. Germany is actually really beautiful during Autumn. It is time to consider bringing out our pullovers and warm, fuzzy socks.

October, other than the Autumn days, comes with Halloween. It is just around the corner and even though it is not one of the most famous celebrations in this part of Europe, I can see decorations popping up in every store. I guess people do like it, and some houses do decorate to a certain extent ever year. Of course, I’ve seen houses taking it to a different level with giant spiders climbing at the side of the house or webs covering the front porch’s bushes.

Personally, I do not have a lot of deco to put up. Maybe I should consider buying some for the front porch or the windows.

Do you celebrate Halloween?
