Cozy. One word.

Daily writing prompt
You get to build your perfect space for reading and writing. What’s it like?

I admit that the moment I read this prompt question, I knew my answer. All I had to do was find some pictures for all of you to get an idea of what I have in mind and just get into writing about it. So here it goes. My ideal space for reading and writing is something like this:

I am really into cozy nature vibes when I think books and writing. To begin with, I do love buying books. The actual physical goodie you can find in any bookstore. In my collection, there are new books, old books and books somewhere in between new and old. I now own a kindle, for traveling purposes mostly, but I have promised to myself that this will not stop me from buying books. Fortunately, a kindle cannot fill a bookcase and shelves, and an empty bookcase or empty shelves are not a pleasant sight in a house…

So, if I had the time right now to put a place together for reading, it would be like this ——>

A few good shelves, some plants, a window to look outside at the world or see the raindrops land during the rainy and gloomy days. A cozy armchair to curl up into with a blanket and a cup of hot chocolate or coffee next to me. I know I would definitely keep thoe fairy lights all over the place. I love them!

When it comes to writing, I am always in need of a laptop or a notebook and a pen. It depends on my mood, I will use either of these. But! I cannot sit and write everywhere. No, no. I always needed a desk, a flat spot with a chair and a set up around it that will inspire me to type or write my thoughts down. So. My ideal space for writing, to match the one for reading mentioned above, is something like this.

Again, bookshelves are a must, fairylights are a must, a cozy blanket is a must and a window!

What about yours?
