Simply Remember.

Let me give you a few lessons. Simplified. About life. And remember them…

  1. Be kind to all. Even those who might not deserve it all the time… It always feels better, being kind that is. And other people can feel that kindness too. Put some good into this world.
  2. Read. As much as you can. Learn about the world or get lost in a fictional world.
  3. Be that sort of friend… Think about how you wish your bestie to be, to have acted. It is quite easy to lose the meaning of a real friend. Listen, understand others and be there for the friends who need you the most.
  4. Music is great. Not only is it great… but it causes emotions to lift us. Play a song and feel what it makes you feel at the moment. Sad, happy or somewhere in between. Through music you can discover something for yourself.
  5. Poetry. Did you know poetry can make us feel whole? Full? Literature itself is something mentioned already… but poetry. Read some when you have the time. You can pause and think, even if it’s just for a moment. Reflect.
  6. Laugh as much as you can. That’s one of the greatest pleasures in life.
  7. Get out there and look at the stars. The universe is a beautiful place and the stars will always be some of your best friends. Same as the moon.
  8. Never give up. On anything. Things in life might get hard. You will face plenty of problems and obstacles… but it is all worth it. Life is worth it. Love is worth fighting for. I promise!
  9. Love. As much as you can. Yes, love can hurt and it can be scary. It might not always lost forever. But even then, the love you lose, the love that hurts you is a lesson in this life. Try and create love, sustain it, nurture it. While loving, we communicate and we learn how to listen, how to understand people.
  10. Take care of yourself. Put yourself above everything else in this life. Do what feels good. Find ways to heal yourself from the stress of the every day routine. You are worth it.
